One Month Letter

Coleman,

Oh how you are loved.  Cooper just absolutely loves that you are finally here and not in my belly anymore! He can't stop hugging and kissing you.  He always wants to get your clean diaper, shake your bottle, and put your binky back in your mouth. Milo, on the other hand, is not quite sure about this whole thing.  He hit you the first time he saw you but since then has pretty much just ignored you! Don't worry, milo is sweet and will eventually come around and always keep you laughing!

Your dad and I are so happy you made it here safe and sound and are always talking about how sweet and perfect you are! You're a good eater, a good sleeper, and just all around calm and mellow.  Sometimes I don't even know when you are awake because you just lay there just as quiet as you were when you were sleeping.  Everyone who comes to visit you always comments on how content and happy you are to just be held and looked at.

You are a tiny little guy, but you're starting to put on a little bit of fat on that tiny body. I love watching you get little rolls on your arms and legs.  Soak in this period of life where fat rolls are adorable, because son, it doesn't last long!

You love to sleep in your bouncer.  You hate to be in your crib.  You'll scream and scream in your crib and then we put you in your bouncer with the vibrator on and you zone right out! It's no the safest place for you to sleep, so we'll have to transition you to the crib eventually.  But for now, you sleep in your bouncer so we can all get a few hours of sleep at night!

Coleman buddy, you are such a welcomed addition to our family and we love you so much! I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!
